BankSoft also sells the BAN-KA bank note identification system developed by the Slovakian euroKOntakt.
BAN-KA, which comes with the recommendation of the National Bank of Hungary, aids foreign currency cashiers and exchange points both in identifying bank notes and traveller’s cheques and in recognising forgeries.
BAN-KA is available in both software and catalogue form.
Both solutions include validity and expiration data and identifying marks on over 50 circulated currencies, along with images and descriptions of known forgeries.
The product can be ordered directly from BankSoft (from Commercial Director Andrea Erõss).
BankSoft provides updates for its bank note catalogue on a continuous basis by sending replacement sheets for its printed catalogues, update CD’s for the product’s software version, and by updating available information online for the Internet version of the product.
